had a wonderful stay in winterswijk! loved the history of this old hotel. the staff was friendly and the location couldn't be better. the market in front of the hotel was a delightful surprise. definitely recommend staying here for a pleasant and convenient visit to the city center.

The hotel was clean and welcoming with an ideal position in the centre of town. The garden, restaurant and lounge were all ideal for post work or exercise relaxation.

If you are a very light sleeper the church bells may disturb you but that is not a criticism of the hotel itself.

Stayed here with my family recently, and we were pleased with our experience. The hotel was right in the center of town which was very convenient for us. We enjoyed walking to the local market in the morning and exploring the area. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The breakfast was tasty with a variety of options. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent.

The hotel could improve on their pricing transparency to avoid confusion with guests.

Nothing wrong at all!

This hotel provides exclusive amenities that fulfilled our luxurious needs. The room advantages were impressive, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The Sun terrace and Garden area were stunning, perfect for enjoying a drink in the evening. The staff provided excellent service, with bilingual and friendly employees. Furthermore, the restaurant served outstandingly good gourmet food, with exquisite attention to detail, and special diet menus were available.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was the breakfast. While the hotel offered a Continental breakfast, we found it to be quite poor and limited, and we decided to skip it altogether.

we arrived to the hotel for check in at 15:15. all the hotel doors were closed, no one answered the door or our calls. we stood in the street with our suitcases not knowing whether to leave or wait. at 16:00 finely someone arrived to open the hotel, did not Apologize for the inconvenience.

Situation in centre of village is fantastic!

The hotel is not of high value, unfortunately still a little expensive for the service provided. It did the job but for €100 a night we were expecting good quality mattresses which wasn't the case. No minibar in the room. We didn't try the very good restaurant from the hotel and went for one of the many bar restaurant in the village.

Amazing Location and Great Building. The hotel is located right in the heart of the town. We enjoyed the Saturday market and the proximity to the local church. The building has great vibes and a lovely atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent too, with plenty of towels and toiletries. It was a pleasant stay.

Poor Breakfast and Room Service. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very basic and expensive.

Friendly staff, excellent English, special dinner menu, lovely location and lobby, personal touch.

I always stay here. The staff returned my forgotten jewellery and I remember that. It suits me perfectly with Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, Bar/ Lounge, Restaurant, Flat-screen TV, Cycling. I am coming back for a trip!

We loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of the town centre. It was just across from the church and the town square and within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation. The hotel facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was also a nice touch.
